If you win, we will send the prize to the address entered and notify you by email or in writing. Purchasing Products

Placing Orders

Before you place an order in store, if you have any questions relating to these terms and conditions please contact Sarah at our Website Enquiries by e–mail: sarah–enquiries@petergreen.co.uk, or call us on 023 8081 0465 Mon–Fri between 9am–5pm and we will endeavour to respond to your request within 48 hours.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing the Website.

Standard delivery charge for on-line orders is £50 regardless of location within UK mainland.  Delivery charges for orders placed within our stores will vary depending upon the distance of the delivery address from the store where the order was placed.

Order Cancellation

Please note that you are entitled to cancel an order if you so wish provided that you exercise your right no longer than seven working days after the day on which you receive the Product(s).

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel an order after your order has already been despatched please follow the procedure set out in our Returns Procedure.

Please note that your right to return Products does NOT apply to Products which fall into the following categories unless they are faulty:

• Non standard goods made to your specification.
• Mattresses, mattress toppers, duvets, pillows or bed linen.

Description of Products

Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery times, warranties, after-sales service and guarantees.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. We cannot confirm the price of a Product until your order is accepted within store in accordance with our Order acceptance policy

Peter Green Gift Vouchers

1. Peter Green Gift Vouchers can only be exchanged for goods in Peter Green stores
2. Gift vouchers may not be exchanged for cash.
3. Gift vouchers may not be used to discharge indebtedness on any account issued by Peter Green.
4. If you have to return goods you have purchased using gift voucher/s, then we will either offer replacement goods or issue further gift vouchers to be used against further purchases. You may return goods to either Peter Green store. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Cancelling or Changing an Order

If you wish to change or cancel an order, please contact the relevant store as detailed in our contact details giving the following information to enable us to process your request quickly and efficiently: order number, date the order was placed, product description and if appropriate details of product change required.

If your products have already been delivered, then you will need to follow our Returns Procedures.

Returns Procedure

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within 28 days and in the original, undamaged packaging.*

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct a penalty based upon the products resale value from the refund amount.

Returns via a Peter Green store

If you wish to return an order you must do so within 28 days of having received the product and return the product in the original, undamaged packaging.* Please contact the relevant store as detailed in our contact details giving the following information to enable us to process your request quickly and efficiently: order number, date the order was placed, product description and if appropriate details of product change required. In respect of made–to–order or non standard products our usual return policy does not apply and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. *

Please note: We will refund the price of the product to the purchaser or exchange the product only once it is received by us back into our warehouse facility.

Refund Policy

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resaleable condition. Returns should be made within 28 days and in the original, undamaged packaging.* In respect of made–to–order or non standard products our usual refund policy does not apply and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. *

If the Product returned is not in fully resaleable condition or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct an appropriate sum based upon the resale value of the Product from the refund amount. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Products we are Unable to Refund or Exchange

We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on made–to measure or non standard product unless they are faulty*: for reasons of hygiene, safety and copyright, we cannot refund or exchange the following products unless they are faulty: mattresses, mattress toppers, duvets or pillows.

Delivery Charges

We will refund your original delivery charge only when a product is faulty or damaged, but not when a product has been ordered incorrectly or is simply unwanted. We do not charge for returns except when a product has been ordered incorrectly or is an unwanted purchase.*

Incorrect/Unwanted Purchases

Please check the dimensions of the delivery address for access (including doors, corridors, stairs and corners) and the proposed location within the building, before ordering large pieces of furniture to ensure successful delivery and to confirm that the product is the right size for your needs. Where large products are returned as incorrect/unwanted, we reserve the right to make an appropriate charge based on the specification of the particular Product to cover the collection cost.

Cancellation of Made–to–Order/Non Standard Products

Should you wish to cancel your made–to–order or non standard product order for any reason, it is unlikely that we could sell it to another customer at full selling price and we will charge an appropriate cancellation fee based upon the resale value of the Product. In respect of made–to–order or non standard products our usual refund policy does not apply and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.*

*None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described. For your rights of cancellation under the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations please see the relevant section in these Terms & Conditions.

General

Right to Use & Intellectual Property

You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within the Website is made available for your personal non–commercial use only and that you may not download such material and content onto a computer hard drive for such purpose. Any other use of the material and content of the Website is strictly prohibited. You agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the Website shall remain our or our suppliers sole property at all times. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our suppliers.

Compliance with UK Laws

The Website may be used only for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all relevant laws, statutes and regulations regarding the Website and any transactions conducted on or through the Website.

Indemnity

You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the Conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your shopping account and/or your Personal Information.

While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the Website, we make no guarantees, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any representation or endorsement made and we make no guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Website, or any transaction that may be conducted on or through the Website.

We make no guarantee that the Website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error–free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy and reliability of the Website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Website.

We disclaim any and all guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Products. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your Contract Cancellation Rights.
