Dust will settle on your upholstery, just as it does on your wooden furniture. If left it will not only dull and spoil the look of your furniture, it will also accelerate wear as it contains gritty particles that will abrade the fibres, therefore please vacuum your upholstery once a week, paying special attention to any crevices. You can also brush with a soft upholstery brush to maintain the pile and help prevent flattening. For general cleaning, seek advice from a professional upholstery cleaning company (details can be found in your yellow pages).
Dust your furniture regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Hot plates and cups can mark furniture even through a tablecloth, so please adequately protect the surface using table mats.
No upholstered furniture should be left exposed to direct sunlight or excessive heat for long periods. Please protect your furniture by pulling blinds or curtains on bright sunny days.
Please avoid putting furniture in direct sunlight as this may cause it to age unevenly. Extremes of either dryness or dampness should also be avoided and we recommend that furniture is not positioned near heat sources such as radiators.
Please remember clothing or soft furnishings made of non-colourfast fabrics may stain your upholstery e.g. blue jeans.
Mop up any spillages as quickly as possible with a clean white lint–free cloth in a blotting action. Do not rub! If in doubt seek professional advice (details can be found in your yellow pages).
Mop up any spillages immediately with a soft cloth to avoid staining. If staining does occur seek professional advice from a French Polisher (details can be found in your yellow pages).
PLEASE NOTE: The manufacturer will not be liable for defects caused by non compliance with the above instructions.
